What Text Color Do You Use For your SiteText Color Green and Header Light Brown
I have been using text color "green" and header color "light brown" like this thread ONLY IN ORDER TO DISTINGUISH MY SITE FROM OTHERS.
I started internet matketing 3 months ago.
I know this is likely to be a turn off to visitors due to not easy illigibility, but I think this will attract andbe remembered bys ome due to novelty color.
Is this a turnoff or attraction??
I would appreciate if you could respond or point me to tha previous thread.

This is not a very much value to people so I used search box,but I could not find.

Whe I created a site 3 months ago,I saw a template for Restaurant with text colors and background of light grean, which looks so refreshing and bright and I liked it.

I looked at your site to check the colors. I would suggest submitting your site for a review here to get some feedback on content and direction before you worry about colors.

i think it will only get you remembered for all of the wrong reasons. People aren't going to remember it to buy from it.

Black on White background is easiest to read
Black, on a White background, is the easiest to read. If you hope to make $ from your web site, I suggest you change to colors that are easy on the visitors eyes, ASAP. If you want them to leave your site, as soon as they arrive, continue using the colors you are currently using. GL

People who are color blind can't read the top line at all. They can't see it. They will have trouble reading the green too.

Text needs to be dark on light, not light on light.

As simple as it is - black on white

Side Note: I need to rest after reading the orange and green text. My eyes hurt.

I worked for Cyberlink.com for several months and the CEO would make us revise a landing page 20-30 days, trying out new colors.

What a waste of time. Focus on the message, on the content positioning, and more importantly - ON THE PRODUCT!

And of course, black text and white background works fine.

I prefer green header and footer backgrounds with white text on them. For the article body, I use mainly black text on a white background, with occasional other color text (dark green, dark red, dark blue) only for emphasis or added interest.

    Hi Herok,

Here's a site you can play around with to test the readability of text and background color. You can type in text, change font, and change the text and background color. It will determine whether the color combination readability is good or poor.
