I have been doing a PPC buy for a friend of mine's company over the last two months. I tweaked the content and got some good results. The odd thing is that when we dropped the bids while the company was closed for vacation, we got the same click through, click to conversion and lead rates that we had at the higher bid amounts.

On Overture, we are averaging about 6th position while on Google it is between 4th and 8th depending on the keyword and the competitiveness. Has anybody else experienced this type of behavior?

I am just curious as in the past when I have dropped ppc bids traffic concurrently went down.
