I don't believe it, the GOP - Republican Party has an affiliate program. I don't believe it, if you can get people to contribute to the republican party they will get you a whopping 30%. I am curious what type of people would put these ads on their site.

I suppose only independants or people who don't really care about politics. B/c republicans that care about politics should already have a link to the GOP if they was going to have one at all.

I know some folks that have political websites, it might be a good fit for a couple of them. The others are anti-Bush, so it might not work for them

Lot's of dough in politics, why not let affiliates in on some of it?

    I think it's the new "Trickle-Down" Economics.

    Maybe it'll work this time.

Often times as soon as a competitor goes affiliate, the next one does. Let's hope the DNC or some other groups will do the same. I would put up some links on my partisan site, isdickcheneydeadyet.com .

OH, I thought everyone saw it. its a cj merchant, go there. Do I get a 10% finders fee? I could do OK with a DNC ad, I'd put it here Mad Cow - Cow Dance, but I would donate the money back to the party anyway. So I suppose it would be better for me to just put a regular, non-paid ad on the page. I really don't know how a self respecting republican could take the 30% and not donate it back to the party. I suppose if you sign up, the GOP will start sending you emails to donate. (Of course the DEMs do it too.)

Eh? Why don't you just link directly to the donation page, the way CJ works parasites will be the big winner with CJ coming in second after they get 30% commission from your commission.

I own both impeachkerry.com and impeachedwards.com ; however, I am disinclined to use the sites to promote the RNC at this time.

"to fully enact our compassionate conservative agenda"

    Get me a bucket.

I wonder how the doanters will feel if they find out 30% of their donation (possibly more) is being bled off to a 3rd party?

I guess GoP supporters are used to having money siphoned off without their knowledge, and lord knows the US economy will need it, with the deficit being what it is.

I'd put it up in 2 seconds if I had a political site. But I'd rather not p*ss off half the visitors that are trying to shop!

Now if the DNC jumps in, I'd make two pages, one for each party. Then I could just link 'em both up. I have actually been hoping for a while that both parties would open programs so I could do just that!

quote:
I wonder how the doanters will feel if they find out 30% of their donation (possibly more) is being bled off to a 3rd party?

Considering that MANY places that solicit donations (symphonies, charities, parties, community groups) do it through some kind of paid service, *knowledgable* donators shouldn't be surprised or dismayed by it at all.

quote:
Please note that search marketing is NOT allowed. Affiliates will NOT be paid for donations generated through search engine marketing.

Hmph! Maybe that's because the only way a "donate to the GOP" page would come up is if someone's using their "brand name" in the search. Still, that SUCKS, who wants to make a whole praise-Bush site just to promote that program...

Looks like that are going to be hard to beat.

The son every woman wishes she had. Looks like a good daddy. Looks like the lover who can be trusted. Has the Kennedy enthusiasm.

If looks alone could win, this one is a slam dunk.

    Incredible political ploy.

In your dreams is right Ssanf.

I just see two rich white guys running for the Republicans, and two rich white guys running for the Democrats. I am sure they all tell the truth - so no worries

Maybe a better "Political Ploy," would be a woman or minority VP candidate?

Just trying to have some foresight, I have impeachcheney.com too. I have no idea what I would do with these domains, just thought they would be good to have. Maybe put up a parody site to amuse myself someday.

True, but this year things may be different. Edwards' populism has the potential to sway a number of people, Republicans, Independents, and the Nader voters.

I am an unrepentant Nader voter and having Edwards on the ticket makes me more likely to vote for Kerry. I will probaby remain undecided until election day.

    Maybe

    >>Looks like the lover who can be trusted.

I disagree there. But then, I don't know what caused that expression on his face. Maybe he really IS telling a fish story...

Also I don't trust any politicians. I don't think there's been a president in decades, if ever, that hasn't either had his administration rocked by scandal, or, if they avoided scandal while in office, had it turn out later that their administration only avoided it because of a Scandalously Massive Cover-Up.

    Nah, wouldn't win.

Perhaps, some day. But, today isn't the day.

I really thought a few years back that Colin Powell could have pulled enough of the white vote, but he couldn't do that now. Other than him, I can't think of a minority person who ever had much of a chance to pull it off. Can you think of anyone?
quote:
I just see two rich white guys running for the Republicans, and two rich white guys running for the Democrats.

Poor people can't afford to take the time off from work to run for President so of course it will be rich guys.
