    CRM Software
Need some feedback. Anyone using any of the CRM software such as Act!, Goldmine, Maximizer. Need something that I can keep contacts but can use the same software to send out e-mails and snail mail from it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Check out Zoho if you're looking at a SaaS version.

I'm also using Zoho and it's highly recommended. User friendly interface and good customization options (free version does bot include email integration so you would need to upgrade). Good luck!

Ive used salesforce.com before, but they are expensive. sugarcrm.com is a open source crm that seems to be pretty powerful.

Anyone know of a CRM, or CRM-like software, that is not geared to sales, but to keeping contact with members of a nonprofit organization?

I know Act can be used to house all of that info. You don't have to use it for sales...you can also customize ACT to have specific fields so you can make it a nonprofit database....

I know this thread is really old...but rather than make a new one I'll liven this one up again.

Any suggestions on the newest and best CRM software? (I'm looking at something for prospective and current affiliate relationship management)

That's what I have been using. Used SugarCRM for years but had to run on a php server and didn't have time to outsource that as I don't run servers any more. I have considered going back to ACT! via their SaaS versionbut its expensive. Used ACT! via the PC for a decade when I was a project manager and worked with marketing.
