    Question Working with Tjoos!
I am looking forward to work with Tjoos coupon network, and interested in Merchant Premium placement option. Please give me any valuable recomendations or comments about their reliablitiy and committments and a suggestion that should i opt for them, i saw few threads in which AWEBbers are complaining about Tjoos cheat, coupon theft etc. what is truth.....

    thanks

Did you get one of those emails about having a premium listing on Tjoos?

I just got one...for a site I haven't had for years now. To an email address I'm not sure how they connected.

It's even more amusing when I get them for affiliatefairplay. ?????????????

Spam. Tells me something right there.

There were acquired but a new firm recently. I had a call with them last week and they are honoring all existing placements where it was requested that user submitted codes were not allowed to be posted.

Will be watching to see how/what the new company does.

I'm not a merchant - And some how they have coupons listed for my website ..

I hope so Loxly, because the exposure they are providing was simply unjustifying to me especially without any cost :S

Yeah you are true, i saw the same thing, what will be a drawback if u put their code to my metatags? and after their spiders, i will remove them. Will it harm my website?

i believe that the forum for this thread is wrongly placed :S this is not an Affiliate starting or Merchant Q&A, its a question regarding one Merchant service provider legitimacy....

I think the thread is in the right place to do the most good for the people who it can benefit the most. Tjoos is not a
    Merchant service provider
, they are an affiliate that many merchants and affiliates have had difficulties with in the past. You said yourself that you had read about many of these problems and you are getting feedback. For the next merchant who is looking for information about working with them, it would be helpful to find this information in this part of ABW, don't you think?

They are an affiliate site, not a merchant service provider. They should be treated the same way you would treat any coupon or loyalty affiliate, taking note of their behavior and deciding if it is ok for your program.

Loxly, i observed the new management is running multiple coupon sites like benbargains ultimatecoupons etc.

sounds good but i have seen their reputation was not so good but meanwhile i saw retailmenot is using few of my exclusive coupons illegally, after contacting them, they didnt even bothered to reply :S

I read their policy that the coupons generated by users. but cant they keep check on coupons. What you say about this, should i open a new thread to let them notice on ABW? because i didnt get a reply from them......

Screw their policy!!!! They are solely responsible for what is posted on their site. Their "policy" is how they attempt to justify their use of other sites exclusive coupons.

You really want to get their attention? Drop them from your program until they comply with your policies that they agreed to when they signed up for your program.

:| ewmatt.... you seems really angry on them... i understand thats what was my reaction when i found other exclusive coupon on their site. How to control such activities. Internally i implemented a link & IP track with any specific coupon sale so that the real coupon affiliate's customer will be benifit only but i just recieved a customer compalint that he uses a coupon from other site and didnt get a discount....!!

I replied buy from Genuine Coupon sites not from the plagiarize sites...

I'm angry that there are sites that make their own rules and merchants and AMs that allow it. "We have no control because our users posted it" is the most pitiful excuse for theft that I've ever heard. I'd bet if I spammed their site with a link to one of mine it would be gone before you could refresh the page.

Stealing other sites coupons has been an ongoing issue with Tjoos and it won't end until merchants and AMs take a strong stand and remove the incentives for them to steal. I'm glad to see that you're taking steps to make sure that they don't profit from stealing exclusive codes, but is that enough? The only way to deal with a continuous and blatant TOS violation is removal from your program. Anything less is condoning their behavior.

Adding to what rematt said. If I was a customer and you responded like that to me (how is a customer suppose to know one of your affiliates 'plagiarizes'), I would no longer be your customer. Then again, I don't think I would ever complain that a coupon I found on some site didn't work... Just saying
