Did anybody else get an email regarding the discontinuation of the Ticketmaster API today? It seems they have killed it due to the merger, or at least that's what I thought it said, giving me exactly 0 minutes to deal with the issue.
Considering many people depend on the API, it seems rather crazy that they just killed the program without giving proper notice. While this is within their right, it seems rather harsh that Ticketmaster would kill the API without giving any notice to their affiliates. I am sure they new a long time ago, so the fact that they gave no warning is rather unprofessional.
Is this something that only affected me, or are others out there in the same boat?
Anybody got any input or advice on this situation? The API is a great product, I hope it comes back or this is resolved.
