how do AMs make their bonus if any?
Is it performace based? If so, do they steal affiliate's commissions by not reporting, reversing or any this kind?

If they did they wouldn't have their job very long.

    Exactly!

Some AM get 2nd tier commission on the affiliate sales so there is no point to stop reporting or reversing!

    Cheers!

The most effective bonus plans are those that are aligned directly with an organizations goals. If the current goal is to recruit new affiliates then the bonus plan should be tied to that metric. If the goal is to increase affiliate sales, then the bonus should be a percentage of any increase in affiliate sales.

I suppose if the goal were to steal as much as possible from affiliates than a bonus plan could be designed to reward AMs on stolen commissions. But if I were an AM and an organization were willing to reward me for theft, I'd have to wonder how much they're stealing from me too.

No matter how a manager is paid or what bonuses there are, it is highly unlikely that *reducing* sales through the affiliate channel would make them more money.

loxly is true... few companies like mine, offer a 2 tier to ma me and my team mates, but have a strict monitoring system, so there couldn't be a loophole if they already made it legal, on the other hand, it has increased my team's motivation.....
