I've been looking for this too.
One of my hosts says there are only x number of domains on my server and based on performance lately I am starting to doubt them.
Granted it could only be that there are some sites with horrible performace draining scripts, but if thats the case then I will be able to track them down and whack them with something fishy and fresh caught if I get to go fishing this weekend.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

    http://www.whois.sc

$15.00/mo or $149/yr gets you all the info.

Thanks for the post Haiko. I am using that site now for simple whois info but I was sure I was previously using something that was free and could check other domains hosted on the same server. Did they put a charge on it recently or maybe I have not been back there for quite some time?

I will dig around more to see if I can find the free service. This is making me nuts

Whois.sc is definitely worth the subscription - the WHOIS history is a useful tool too.

If you go to dnsstuff.com and use their "WHOIS Search" (not WHOIS Lookup), And, if the IP is not blocked, the info will tell you how many
websites are on the Web Server under Reverse IP info.

RE whois.sc: That only works if all the domains on the server are on the same IP.

Before they started charging, I checked out my own server and they missed all my unique-IP doms. It's more of a "how many sites are on the same IP" tool, than actually saying how many are on the server.

I've thought about signing up now that they charge, but cannot justify spending $149/yr on what amounts to a tool for satisfying my idle curiosities about other sites.
