ok, i have 2 columns of emails in excel. I want to filter out emails that appear in both colums. How can I do this. Trying not to pull ALL my hair out.

What if I hav 3 columns, how can I display email addresses that are present in all 3 columns only?

I've done something similar in Excel but it was several years ago and I don't remember how I did it! lol! (I do remember that it took some fooling around with to get it to work.) So the good news is it is do-able in Excel. The bad news is I can't remember how. Sowwy!

    Hi,

If the first column has 10 in A1-A10 (for example)and column B has any number of items. First, sort the first column alphabetically. Next, in column C, row 1, place the following:

    =IF(VLOOKUP(B1,$A$1:$A$10,1),"",B1)

Then copy this down as far as column B goes. Anything found in column B that also appears in column A will show a blank...anything in column B that doesn't appear in column A will show up in column C.

Then copy column C and paste special (only values) in the same place. Sort column C, then copy and paste onto the end of column A.
