    New to Popshops and Need Some Help.
    Hello, today I signed up for the Pro Unlimited Plan at Popshops. I want to use php coding for my stores but I am having a very hard time getting it to work. I am web hosted through Host Gator and they support php and I have cURL enabled. I even followed the 3 steps in the FAQs seen here.

    To add a PHP snippet, simply follow these steps:

    1.) Save your web page with the extension ".php" instead of ".html".
    2.) If you have a Pro or Enterprise account, choose "PHP" in the "Pop it in" tab under "Choose a flavor"
    3.) Paste the PHP snippet in as you would with a JavaScript snippet (where you want your shop to appear)

    No matter what I do, nothing seems to work. I am loosing valuable time and I have so many ideas flowing through my head that I can not keep track of them. I need php to start working so I can get to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should or need to do??? Thanks in advance.

    I host at HostGator and the php runs fine on my sites.

    You can add the following to your .htaccess file at HG just in case you're trying to run the code with a htm or html page and it will run regardless of what your page extension is.

    Code:
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .htm
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html

    What is the url of the page you're trying to run it on and I take a look at it.

    php ran perfectly fine for me too when I was using stores through Goldencan. I talked to a few Host Gator techs and they said that everything was running fine on their end and the problem was probably with the coding. A couple of them looked at the coding and said that looked fine too. So it just seems to be a big mystery why this is not working for me.

    If you'll go to that page and do a right click on it and - then view source - you'll see that the popshops stuff is being written in your html but I don't know why you can't see it on the page?

    Look at what I've made bold in your code and remove it.

    Just have:

    <?php
    # Determine the current base URL
    if(!isset($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'])) {
    $psps_base_url = $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];
    if (isset($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['QUERY_STRING'])) { $psps_base_url .= $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['QUERY_STRING']; }
    } else {
    $psps_base_url = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
    }

    $psps_parameters = '';

    foreach ($_REQUEST as $key => $value) {
    if (strpos($key,"psps_") > -1 ) {
    $psps_parameters .= '&'.$key.'='.urlencode($value);
    $psps_base_url = str_replace('&'.$key.'='.urlencode($value), "", $psps_base_url);
    $psps_base_url = str_replace($key.'='.urlencode($value), "", $psps_base_url);
    }
    }

    $psps_parameters .= "&psps_show_search=true";
    $psps_parameters .= "&psps_show_navigation=true";
    $psps_parameters .= "&psps_show_products=true";

    $psps_url = "?psps_base_url=".urlencode($psps_base_url);

    $psps_url="http://shops.popshops.com/shops/php/7bxq1h7kspbr04ez4n2c9zxzz$psps_url$psps_parameters";

    # Include the shop
    if (function_exists('curl_init')) {
    $shop=curl_init();
    curl_setopt($shop,CURLOPT_URL,$psps_url);
    curl_exec($shop);
    curl_close($shop);
    } else {
    readfile($psps_url);
    }
    ?>
    And see what happens.

    I think maybe I leave the thread. Some more people may be having the same problem you did and maybe it will help them too.
