Is it just me or is indexing of a new page for the purpose of showing google adsense ads on it getting slower and slower? It used to happen in minutes - now I am still waiting 36 hours after uploading 5 new pages. ?????

Have those pages been visited by someone not on your IP?

They just need one page load to know the page is active and go to spider it, they don't care where the click comes from.

And how do you click from your IP anyway?????

I've had pages that don't get crawled until someone on a remote IP views them, so I was curious.

The IP I'm referring to isn't the IP of the host, but of the browser.

Well, it's 24 hours later and the pages still are only showing my alternative ad. They have been viewed by plenty of other people and I tried refreshing them several times fast. Nothing.

I made a page this morning, uploaded it, and the very first time I looked at it there was a good set of Google ads on it.

    Dunno how they do that.

Sometimes this happens to me because the content of my sites is not always mainstream - - there just aren't any Adword customers that match the keywords on that page.

I think Adsense takes a look at the META CONTENT tag because With some of my more obscure content, I can help 'steer' Adsense bots to find what the true meaning of what the text is about.

I am not talking about spamming the META CONTENT tag. But a few relevant keywords really seem to help Adsense hit the target
