Try building a search box for AbeBooks or Half.com through Commission Junction. Or just try mine here, cut and pasted just now from CJ:

    http://dnrdir.com/searchbox.html

The search boxes aren't working. AbeBooks displays an advanced search form, and Half shows an error page. Does anyone know why this is and whether it can be fixed somehow? Do I have to e-mail CJ?

    Thanks!

Well, I used the "Ask A Question," so I will see how long it takes for CJ to get back to me. I have a question for ABestWeb though. If I know the search term result page that I want visitors to see, is it possible for me to use a URL redirect to send a visitor to that page when linking to Abe/Half? I always see that notice that the advertiser allows redirects but never tried it out.

The CJ guy got back to me this morning saying that it was a known issue. Well, I figured that I was losing sales and that I couldn't wait around for the techies to fix it. So I accomplished what I wanted to do with a URL redirect to the search result page. Let's hope that tracking is not affected!
