There are many USA based affiliate programs that will only extend their offers for joining to USA address. It so weird..

now about 80% of them i contact im in canada , will through chatting work out something with me. but that 20% wont.. they are strict on only working with american addresses..

to the point that us canadians are having to find a USA based POBOX and get a USA TAX ID and all that crap.. its silly mate..! as then you have to deal with USA taxes, CANADIAN TAXES etc. etc..... have to have a accountant in usa and accountant in canada.
    what ever next...

It's a shame as Canadians are just liberal Americans living outside Calif. The Thread title caught my eye as I immediately flashed to a "perculiar Canadian"....Gordo. PM him and he'll let you in on all the secrets. Most the Canadians I talk to in Metro Detroit would have no problems. They'd just cross the border a few times a month, bonk the USA girlfriend, and duck back over the border with the affiliate cash pocketing the exchange rate to cover the gas expense.

And for those you find a better merchant make tons of money with them and laugh all the way to the bank knowing it could have been their profits instead

It's probably well worth the effort but many USA based companies don't know how to do the extra bookwork so they avoid it.

PS I'm pretty sure Mike is actually a Canadian.

    Taxes...

Heyder hit on the head. Ask your average accountant how to handle commission payments to international affiliates and most will respond with a vacant look.

Why is it Americans cannot get a domain address .ca unless you live in Canada.

I think the hassle goes both ways.

Customs is a PITA going to or from Canada!

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!
