    Hi T,

Does you new computer have Norton Internet Security on it?? If so you will want to turn off Ad blocking. There are a TON of posts here about it.

ZoneAlarm does have an optional ad-blocker too.

thanks everyone, i do have norton anti virus, but i had it before on my old cvomputer and it never stopped anything, there is also nowhere on it about adverts to undo it, so i am assuming its a different version to the one on here - its a uk university copy.

i have also tried turning that and zone alram off but nothing works. my adblocking is set to off on zonelalarm.

i really cannot figure it out and i am not too really a novice when it comes to this, i have run all spyware programs i can find!

is it something on windows xp? any other ideas would be great, thanks

Turn the ad-blocker off but make sure to keep the anti-virus - it saved my butt many times!

Some firewalls have ad blocking plugins on them also. If you have a firewall installed you might want to look at its options and switch adblocking off.
