Sorry, "dr. oz acai berry colon cleanse diet" ,you may not post on my blog. Seriously, if you were really a Doctor, I would think you might change your name from "oz acai berry colon cleanse diet" to something more plausible, like, "dr. enhance your yang"
I do so hate forgetting to uncheck 'allow comments' and 'allow trackbacks' in wordpress blogs, lol. I wake up to 168 spam comments, jeeze.
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

I also make sure that I have checked off "all comments require moderation" and have Akismet and Bad Behavior up to date. Blocking IPs from my VPS has become a fun thing also.

September 10th, 2010, 10:33 PM #4Didn't know what that was until a few days ago!
I hear you guys.
I'm a new guy, but luckily I have a good guide like Jason Rubacky to help me out there.
I just started my site a couple weeks ago and then after i started doing some really nice long tailed posts I gat all these comments and "ping backs".
So I asked him WTF with these things so he gave me the run down. What a pain.
Doesn't anyone have any class or do they really think that doing that is a good idea? LOL!

I loved the one I got today, where the guy said he would give his correct arm if he could do blah, blah, blah.
If you are going to use a thesaurus to change wording, make sure you understand the original meaning. (it should have been "I'd give my right arm to do blah, blah, blah!!!!)
But it did give me a laugh today!Ron Bechdolt | Affiliate Program Management Consultant

of course if you don't want any comments at all, you can disable them site wide. There is no need to disable comments every time you write a post. It I remember correctly it is under settings -- discussion.
