    Hi,

I am writing to inform that the items in X10’s new “Electronics Store” will not be paid commissions on. Please email if you have any questions.

    Thank you,
    Kenny

Jeeese, I have the coolest site I was gonna put you on. 'Was' being the key word! You are making money on those items, so cough up some commissions for your affiliates!

Can't believe anyone still promotes them! They are yesterday's news. Consign them to history, where they belong.

It's really quite simple, it is not an X10 product and would not like affiliates to promote non-x10 equipment. The current affiliate links will drive to Hot selling products and offers that sell themselves.

Feel free to contact me at kennyf@x10.com

You highlight in yellow "NEW! Electronics" at the top of your page ( right below the 1-800 number and the June 1 NEWSLETTER SPECIALS ). Is this what you are talking about? All those lovely ipods and such are the items you won't pay a commission on?

That is correct. Please do not promote these products because we are not paying commissions on these products. The landing pages for all affiliate links to not have a link to the "New! Electronics".

I see the situation, I work for a major retail electronics store. At those prices there can't any margin of profit, especially if shipping is free.

As long as affiliate pages don't link to the main X10 page, I'm okay with that.

Does X10 have a CPA program? If not, this may be something worth consideration.

Yes, X10 does have a CPL (cost per lead) program that offers $10 for new customer leads and $5 for repeat customer purchases. For details, please see:

Whoa. Wonder if that's what Kenny means when he said "... our conversion is improving on our pages - enhanced, in part, by the value of the offers (we package a number of additional items for free) ?
