Flirty Aprons for the Holidays
We are shuffling some things around at Flirty Aprons in preparation for the upcoming holiday boost. We have decided to close the Pepperjam program in December and concentrate solely on ShareASale and Commission Junction. Both programs did exceptionally well for us in the past year. This morning I lowered the commission in Pepperjam to 5%. The SAS and CJ commission will remain at 15% and any active affiliates that switch links will receive special considerations.
We are also beginning to enforce our PPC policy that has been in effect for about 6 months. Affiliates are no longer allowed to bid on trademark terms or any variations but they can use our display url. I've been reaching out to a small group of affiliates found through our trademark monitoring service and letting them know that today is the last day before enforcement. Any sales through trademark ads will now be voided and after three warnings, the affiliate will be removed from the program.
During the Mother's Day bump and last year's holiday season, our biggest affiliates were mommy bloggers. This year we want to ensure even bigger conversions for them by eliminating trademark ppc violations.
