What happens when a merchant does not have sufficient funds in their account?
If a merchant is on "Low Funds" status, with, say, 11 dollars in their account, and an affiliate refers a sale that would generate a commission of let's say 90 dollars, then what happens? Does the commission get credited to the affiliate? Or does the transaction knock the merchant into "Temporarily Offline" status which results in no commission being credited to the affiliate?

The commission is credited to your account prior to the offline status. Basically, ShareASale covers the difference in these occasions, should a Merchant never return online.
