I noticed that sales/commissions for one of my merchants stopped cold. Trying to figure it out.

Has anyone heard about Windows Service XP Service Pack 2 blocking cookies?

    thanks, April

I haven't heard of that although keep us posted. One thing that it did to my computer when I updated last week was wipe out my sound system. I guess it disables the yamaha driver that ran my sounds for IM and Outlook notifications etc. It says that XP disables the Yamaha driver

XP SP2 rocks! Blocks all drive-by downloads by default and asks permission to DL!

Lots of excellent features! Fire wall is not bad at all also.

I agree. I had not previously used any pop-up blockers and this seems to be working beautifully, the "notification bar" saying it blocked a pop-up takes no more real estate than the address bar and disappears as soon as you navigate away from the page.

Thank you everyone. So nice to have a sounding board as I'm a lone affiliate.

My experience with XP SP 2 is positive. There was some confusion about having two fire walls activated; but there was a nice explanation in the documentation. I decided to stick with Norton.

Not noticing any other yet -- but I totally emphasize with anyone who's had trouble. I've certainly suffered from upgrade problems in the past and everyone's computer is different.

As to my sales stoppage. Must be something about my web site design. I'm getting tons of hits; but not as many sales as I'd expect. Guess I need to go to school on online shopping web site design. Nobody said it was going to be easy and I guess I just need to stick with it.

Thanks again. I'm glad I can stop worrying that XP SP2 is the cause of my troubles.

Install went ok, i like the new features, but my CD ROM has been AWOL since the install. The initial boot even told me 'hey stupid, your CD rom drive cannot be detected..'... crap, crap, mega crap!
