    I found this in my cj.com mails folder:

    Your links to our website may have been affected by a snafu at Google
    Date 29-Aug-2004
    Message Body
    Dear Affilliates;

    Re: Discount Designer Menswear, Inc.

    On or about June 29, 2004, there was a mistake made at Google which caused all links to our website to be removed from the Google search Engine.

    I believe that this also affected your links to our site as well. The problem is now resolved and our search keywords, etc. have been restored on Google.

    Please make sure that any and all links you had on Google are operational.

    Our company has two url's which are:
    wwww.menswear-discounts.com and
    wwww.discountdesignermenswear.com

    Anything that you can do to restore your links would be appreciated. I suggest that you email Google at help@google.com and make sure that your search terms etc. including anything you had pertaining to our company is restored also.

    We look forward to a mutually healthy, happy and profitable holiday season.

    Thank you and kindest regards, .......

    Merchants seeking to spam Google need to pay the SEO/SEM affiliates for their secrets. The penalties for amateur spamming or paying the traffic con-men can be dire!

    " a mistake made at Google..."
    If it was really a fault, how much do you think it will cost them? If it was no fault, then I think it was because of spamming and parasitic action.
