    Unsubscribe from all LinkShare emails Broken
    I tried to unsubscribed from a merchants emails as it says down the bottom of the emails I get. It says:

    ******************************************************************
    You are receiving this because you have registered as an affiliate
    of LinkShare. To unsubscribe from all LinkShare emails, please click
    here:
    <LINK TO LINKSHARE>

    with this option I get redirected to a browser detection page and then asked to login. I login and I'm presented with the home page??????

    To change email subscription options, or to de-activate your account
    entirely, please click:
    <LINK TO LINKSHARE>
    NOTE:You will need to login with your username and password.

    Ok the 2nd option here at least works and I can now select which newsletters I want from each merchant.

    Hi glinted,

    A few questions regarding this:
    Were the two options you were presented with both on the same email/newsletter?
    Were they separate Advertiser emails? If so which advertiser sent you the first link?

    I want to investigate if they were changed by that specific advertiser or if it is a mistake in the templates that are used.

    Every LS merchant email has these 2 options at the bottom of the newsletter plus the forgotton passord link.

    Different advertisers but it doesn't matter what advertiser as I have tried on several and the first link does not work for me. It looks something like this:

    -http://linkshare.com/o?a=(unique numeric number here)

    it is not a mistake, every newsletter has the same link, only the numeric number changes.

    Hi glinted,

    Thanks for your help. I will look through some newsletters that advertisers have sent to fix this issue.

    let me just say, it is actually a good system, maybe a moderator could change the title. I like how I can opt out of certain advertisers newsletters. It's just that first link that never worked for me but it doesn't effect me now since I can use this other page.

    Most of these email newsletters will fail the ICANN spam requirements as you are really supposed to unsubscribe in no more than 2 steps
