Question Do networks proactively block bots?
    Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone has any intel on if the Networks have some sort of filtering in place to "mark" / "delete" / "flag" click-thrus generated by Search Bots / web spiders?

Lately I have been getting alot of bot related click-thru's on my site that are generated by search bots like the google bot ...

I have my redirects pages in the robots.txt to disallow but that doesnt seem to be working so I have started to restrict access on select pages...

Some do, but you never know which bots they filter out of the stats. Doing it on your end is always better.
