    Anyone in Bradenton, FL area?
    Hey Everyone-

So here's the deal. I'm going to be around the Bradenton, FL area really soon for about a week. I've got a wireless card (thank you Groupon Overlords), but the connection stinks a majority of the time. Since I'll be with my Grandfather who does not use the Internetz, was curious if anyone had any recommendations for a good coffee shop, or even beach side location that has decent-free internet-since he isn't really into that.

Thought you all would be a good lot to ask while I go a-googling for answers as well!

    Thanks for any help.

Don't know about beach places, but Starbucks, McDonalds and panera all have free wifi, so maybe you can start there. If you get up to the Tampa area, give me a yell, I'm just a bit north of there.

Thanks- sweet of you to respond! I'm looking to find some nice local establishments (which I'm sure I'll find one once I'm down there. I'll be at the mercy of my Grandfather and his car-so not sure if I'll make it up there, but thanks for the invite!

Oh, I'm sure you'll find some, though Bradenton isn't exactly known for a younger crowd of people, but there is a Mall there which may have some places around it. Also, the Ruby Tuesdays there probably has wifi. Theres also a little German Restaurant there that is ok, Becks I think is the name, they had wifi, you might want to check them out too. Geez, been so long since I've been in that area. Have fun, come enjoy our fantastic weather.

I'm looking forward to the weather. Definitely not thinking I'll find people my age . I'll definitely check out the German Restaurant though (I Lived in Germany for a couple of years, so I'm always on the lookout to try them).

    Thanks!

    Julia,

If you're looking for something different from Starbucks, check out Lov-A-Da Coffee in Bradenton.

I was there for a meeting recently and was amazed at the HUGE room with recliner chairs, sofas, tables, workstation areas, and so forth. Free WiFi, great food and coffee, and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
