As far as earning potential with affiliate programs...what is a realistic earning amount per month?

I'm just curious because this is all new to me

sorry if this is a stupid question (one of many I'll be asking)

Some people make a ton of money, some make pennies and a whole bunch fall right in between. There is no average. If you can get traffic for a product and the price is right you should be able to sell it.

Your mileage will definitely vary. For a long time I was content to make $1K/month.

This year the goal I set for myself was to replace the monthly income I had from my last "real" job. I hit that target last month. Anything I make beyond that point is fun money. (In other words, I'm getting furniture and a remodeled kitchen!)

IMHO, I think the best short-term goal is to try various things and see what works best for you and learn-learn-learn. The best long-term goal is to earn enough money to support yourself comfortably.

    Thanks for the input.
I've been trying different links and such to see which do best on my site and trying to keep track of things.

I think I'm just getting newby anxiety!
