Just thought I'd share this. Program name and my site name edited out, of course
Subject Ads not showing
I was at one of your sites www.[edited]shoppe.com and I couldn't see any of our ads. Could you please advise why this is the case?

You mean you don't put banners for all your merchants on all your sites?
Sometimes it is scary.
I used to have a page for Eternity Bands on SAS - the program is closed now - (hmmmm..wonder why?) and one day, after a sale went through they sent me an email to ask how someone could possibly have purchased from my site when all the links on the referring page went to an error page.
Umm, don't suppose it is because the sale put your program into "Offline" status? duh. Ever thought about AutoDeposit??

This is a "their own brand" program. Even though I don't happen to have any of their banners sitewide, there is one on the page for their brand. I need to switch that one back out though, because their distributors pay higher commissions on their products than they do.

I probably couldn't resist a response like this:
Subject: Slotting Fee Not Received
You did not see your ad because I did not receive your slotting fee. Could you please advise why this is the case? Please remit the appropriate fee ASAP and I will be more than happy to prominently display your ad.

I had a similar letter from a different planet. I did reply with some stats, including that I booked a couple hundred room-nights for them this year. It's just that I, as David mentioned, don't use their direct program - because the consolidators pay a LOT more that what they offer through their program in CJ.
I also told them I realize they are very busy and would save them some time. I did go into my CJ account and hit the "expire" button on their program. C'est la vie.
