As a merchant, what are my options for affiliate marketing?

please forgive my lack of experience with affiliate marketing.
I am a merchant selling hand painted art and I wanted to get people on board to do affiliate marketing. Are there programs I can sign up for? (I'm too small to do CJ) and want something more effective then PPC.
Would offering 20% commission on $200 products sound effective?

For smaller merchants, ShareASale.com is probably the best option. Their upfront costs are under $1k, and their monthly minimum network fee is only $25.
Read through the links in my signature, and you'll find some of the resources that will help you get started with affiliate marketing.

avantlink.com is another network that has low cost of entry and great people and technology to work with.

Hey Milton, how about giving suggestions and not a blatant sales pitch. The guy was asking how to get started in affiliate marketing, in an affiliate marketing forum and you are trying to sell him on some TV Commercial service?
Pretty classy man.
If you want to sell on here, the way to do it is be a useful and helpful member of the community and build trust until someone contacts you about the possibility of doing business.
Just my $.02

I think that Michael's suggestion of SAS and John's Avantlink suggestion are both good - both networks are affordable, effective and most of all ethical.
You might also want to check out the OPM forum here for some consultants who can help you out with structuring your program to be a winner.
