ROSE BOWL - Wisconsin - It is an affront to all sensibilities to ignore decades of tradition and not have a PAC10-Big10 match-up in the Rose Bowl. For that reason, the monstrous Badger offense will pound the vaunted Horned Frog defense.

FIESTA BOWL - Oklahoma. Having lost 5 straight BCS games, the Sooners finally have a match-up they can win.

ORANGE BOWL - Stanford. Cardinal may be the second best team in the country. Their only loss is to the mighty Ducks. This may be the last big game for Stanford in a long, long, time, as they likely will lose both QB Andrew Luck and coach Jim Harbough to the NFL.

SUGAR BOWL - Ohio State. Regardless of what Jim Tressel has said, Terrelle Pryor, Dan Harron, et. al. liklely will be eBay pros next year, so this is their college swan song.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - the mighty DUCKS. In typical Duck fashion, I see a big Auburn lead early, and a dominating Duck second half for a going away quack-up victory.

...but WHAT is with this scheduling?

The title game is not until JANUARY 10?????

Might as well have it as the kick-off to NEXT season.

Yeah... If they keep moving it further and further into the new year, its gonna be part of March Madness pretty soon.

So, being an Auburn alumni, I'm definitely hoping for an Auburn win....

Here's what I do know... The Auburn defense will probably give Oregon some trouble and this year's Auburn team finishes very strong, so a runaway second half by Oregon could be hard to accomplish.

I'm hoping for an exciting, very high scoring game with strong performances by both teams. I just bought a 55" inch TV specifically to watch the game :-)

isellstuff - I'm hoping for a great high scoring game too. How do you think Auburn is going to handle Oregon's no huddle offense? They snap the ball in 5-6 seconds. Are they in good enough shape to handle that fast pace?

Auburn and Oregon have very similar programs. Auburn also runs a no huddle offense that is coached by Gus Malzahn, who will be a head coach at a top 25 school within the next couple of years. Gus Malzahn - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Auburn's defense should be in pretty good shape, but they probably will get worn down. I'm guessing that Oregon's defense will also be worn down by the end of the game.

It should be fun to watch.
