Free .info registrations, 1 year. up to 25 per account. I know, I know, it's not a .com , but still, .info might be good for a'content' site or two on relevant topics.........
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

And it appears to be a global thing, many registrars offering the same or a similar deal...

Same promo at namesecure. True they get you at renewal, but I wonder if you could just transfer it to GoDaddy during the year? I can't see why not but I didn't read all the small print either...

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

It's called desperately trying to compete with .com by giving away the only product you have.

IMHO spammers and dodgy websites have totally ruined the reputation of the .info extension, I'd never put a website on one.

One of our CJ links promotes domain renewal:

    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Renew your domain for just $8.95!

    Description Renew For $8.95

    7 Day EPC N/A
    Advertiser Dotster Domain Registration
Category Web Services &gt; Domain Registrations <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

    Someone renewed 3 domains - it didn't track - I contacted AM:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>It looks like the reason the domains did not receive
commissions is because they are renewals. At this time, Dotster does not pay
    commissions on domain renewals.

I hope that clears up the problem. Please let me know if I can help with
    anything else. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Normally I'd blow my stack about now - but I like this AM...

    But...

Shouldn't we be told that a link we're provided in the CJ interface promotes something we don't get paid on???

[I just realized this is in the wrong forum - soon as I figure out how, I'm moving it to the CJ forum]
