I find Platinum SEO to be at least as good as All in One SEO. Plus, the "nag" screens and constant reactivation required now with All in One SEO is a pain in the behind. So far Platinum SEO isn't nearly that annoying.

Also, Platinum SEO has an automatic redirect function you can set if you should change your permalink structure in the future.

I've been using all-in-one-seo for years and it works great.

I just took a look at WordPress SEO by Yoast. It looks like it is loaded with features. I will give this a test on my next install.
There's good, fast and cheap. Pick any two.

I absolutely agree with everyone that has mentioned all-in-one SEO. That is definitely the best plugin out there. I have a large number of posts that come up within the top 3 search results on google, and I think all-in-one is a big reason why.

I have to cast my vote for "All in One SEO". I use it on all my sites (and there are a lot of them). Works great.

However, as WRITERGUY stated, the "constant reactivation" is a pain.

I switched a couple of sites to Plat SEO today. We shall see what happens.
Platinum seems to be almost identical to All In One with some tweaks. Is this not true??

Platinum SEO is very useful. It has the same function as All in One SEO but with additional features. You could set your meta tags in Platinum SEO to no index/no follow.

several of the comments recommend Wordpress SEO by Yoast which apparently is unfortunately overlooked by many, as witnessed in this thread.

    232 votes with a near-perfect rating.

I've tried most, if not all, of the SEO plug-ins. This one is the ultimate by far. It even coerced me into upgrading to WP 3.x, which is required. The only thing I lost was the ability to edit the More text on the post entry screen, but it's a very small tradeoff for what the plug-in brings to the table. In fact, i was able to eliminate at least 2 other plug-ins because of this one.

I've done some extensive research on both "All In One SEO" and "SEO by Yoast". Reading comparisons, reviews, etc... At the end of the day, I chose to go with "SEO by Yoast".

All in One SEO is the best if you are looking for something that does not cost. If you have the money to spend though, I recommend PushButton SEO. It gives you a graphical representation of your on-page SEO, internal linking and content curation.

    Have a good day!

I find Joost de Valk's "WordPress SEO" plugin to be superior to all the other free SEO plugins I've tried, including "All-In-One-Seo (which I used to use).

Personally on my Wordpress Sites, I use the All In One SEO pluggin. It's quite simple to configure and use & FREE. Maybe worth trying, just search for it in the Add New Pluggin section in your admin area.
