    Question Where to begin
This may have been asked and answered somewhere in the newbie area but,
I am very new at affiliate marketing. I do have affiliate links from a couple of companies but do not know how to get started?
I know that I need a domain name and then where and how do I set up a website? Godaddy has a 5 page template but do I need the 5 pages?
    Any help would be appreciated.

That's how I would do it.

I have been pretty happy with http://www.bluehost.com/
Thanks for the reply. I have signed up for a few affiliate programs with larger retailers.
Should I set up a website for each one? Godaddy has templates but requires 5 page minimum.
Or is there a website builder that I can use and then have godaddy host?

    Keep it Simple
If you are completely new to this, would recommend to learn this a bit before you jump into hosting setup. Here is how I would do it

    1) Setup a domain @godaddy
    2) setup up a wordpress. You don't need to setup a hosting to do this. You could just create an account @wordpress.com and point your domain to new account. They have instructions on how to do this. Once you learn the system, it's pretty easy to move to you own hosting.
Reason I pick wordpress is because it simplifies most of the mundane tasks. You can get a professional site ready without a single line of code. Great for your SEO efforts. There are good plugins available to support affiliate marketing, datafeeds.

    Hope this helps

GoDaddy is a great place to buy a domain name but not a very good host, look around and find a host with full features. They offer some site building tools, but you can end up with a site that can only be hosted on GoDaddy. It is best to host somewhere other than where you buy domains.

To start cheap you can buy a domain with only around $4.95 in netfirms.com for the first year. You have to use the coupon code promo495 .

For Hosting you can use 2gb hosting 2gbhosting.com. about 12 dollars a year. So far so good for me.

If you want unlimited hosting then, hostgator.com and justhost.com are great.
