    Coupon Snap
Can you tell me why all your merchants are not enrolled in this, or more of your merchants. Its such a great tool for publishers that I would think they would be encouraged to use it.

    Hi Cindy -
As long as the Advertiser has end consumer offers - they should show up in the CouponSnap. The CouponSnap tool pulls data from our Coupon Web Service

    More detail here:

Really, cause take Drugstore.com for instance, they always send a bunch of offers out in emails, but when I use couponsnap for them it says they have nothing. Does it depend how the merchant loads the coupons into your system then?

    Cindy -

I'm going to inquire with my team and will follow up with you early next week. If they're true end consumer offers, they should be showing up.

If you can send me some specific examples that would be helpful as well.

    firstname dot lastname at linkshare

Thanks and glad you like the CouponSnap tool!

    Cindy -
Looks like there might've been an issue with CouponSnap looking at the Canada Drugstore program - not US. It should be fixed now.

If you continue to have an issue - please email me directly.

    Thanks!

    Dummy question:
I saw your post sunshiner and sounded easy enough to do. lol Applied and was accepted. Umm, does not look like anything you're talking about, tho. Is this the same as the "Coupon Web Service"?? That's what the link took me to apply for but it looks more like something to do with a datafeed instead of what you described.

    purplebear,

CouponSnap is an API built on top of the Coupon Web Service. It is generally used by publishers who don't have the right tools to integrate the Coupon Web Service with their website.

Thank you Ranae for replying to the question
As most who know me well realize, I'm not the most computer smarty person in the world I only applied thinking from Sunshiner's explanation it was a fairly simple thing to do. I don't work with API's or if I do, I don't realize I am. So, sounds like I shouldn't have applied to use it since is waaaay beyond my computer skills. Thanks again, especially for replying to my question so quickly Appreciate it

On no, its not beyond your computer skills. I did it in about 5 minutes, and I have NONE. If you go ahead apply for your keycode, once its approved, if you want to jump on a phone call I'll walk you through the rest. I guarantee it won't take more then 10 minutes.
