Can anyone recommend a good newsletter mailing software app? I tried using majordomo, but it's just too cryptic.

We use AutoResponsePlus, which combines mailing list and autoresponder features, and does everything we need.

It handles our list of 130,000 subscribers without any problems.

I use intellicontactpro.com which is an ASP version but very easy and the lowest price I could find. You pay by number of people in your list instead of how many emails you send.

They also have a good affiliate program so if you add a link to the bottom of your newsletter and anyone on your list decides they want to use the program to send their newsletters, then you can make enough money to offset your cost.

gammadyne is pretty good if you are looking for bulk direct to customers clients, etc.
