Quitting using PPC for them is something to consider as an option, although I think 87 clicks may be premature. During the first week or two of a PPC campaign, click rates can get a bit messed due to competition/curiosity clicking.

Other than that, the click-through rate is a bit low for a PPC run; if you change your spin you may be able to get that higher, depending on the quality of the PPC's traffic. More traffic should be interested enough to go on to the merchant site.

I wouldn't "pull the plug" on them altogether. Even if you stop advertising them via PPC, if you leave some pages for them around there's always the chance of some free traffic coming and seeing the pitch.

Most merchants convert somewhere in the region of 1% of the time, so you'll need more clicks to tell.

Although, my stats for the particular merchant this year are 974 clicks and one sale, which is extremely poor.

    imo

Playing in the cell phone activation game with PPC is not the best investment you could be making under normal commission structures.

I have merchants that convert one in 15 and merchants that convert one in 200, or the same merchant on different sites that converts one in 15 on one and one in 200 on the other.

I don't generally pay attention to tell you the truth. Lots of people click out of curiosity. Depends on your site, depends on the merchant site. Depends, depends, depends.....

Verizon is your friend. I make about 1 or 2 orders a month with them and average 90 to 120 each order.
