Prospective Employers Beware: Is that Resume Legit?
The local news did a story about this outfit last night, so I had to look at their site, career excuse dot com:

They have been in business for over a year, creating phony work histories for people. They create phony companies, jobs, references, etc., and even provide phone numbers so prospective employers can call and speak to someone, who will give a live, phony reference. From their web site:
    You Choose Your Career History!
You Pick Your Start and End Date!
    You Choose your Salary!
We Provide a Real Company Just for You!
We Provide a Real Address For That Company!
We Provide a Real Website For That Company!
We Provide a Real "800" Phone Number!
We Will Have our Operators Standing By!
We Will E-mail you Every Time Someone Calls!
    Astounding!

If enough of us tell them we want to promote them, maybe they'll start one.

Why not? I saw someone spamming today for "Clean email accounts" Why not for a "Good work history" to go with that?
