    not-approved vs declined
Can anyone please define the differences between not-approved vs. declined in relation to affilates who have just applied to the program?

Incidentially, I attempted to submit this as a ticket and keep getting this error: "One of the required field(s) is empty", but all fields are populated?

    Thanks!

To which program? It could be a merchant specific thing.

Not Approved means you applied for a merchant's program and they manually
review and approve affiliates to join. So you're pending approval (or not).

Declined means you tried to join a merchant and they rejected you as an affiliate.

    Shareasale non approved
    Sorry, more clarification....

I am a ShareASale merchant. I have some new pending affiliates. I have 3 options regarding their application for the program:

    Approved
    Not-Approved
    Declined.

I understand Approve and Declined. Not sure what Not-Approved means.

As mobilbadboy says, those affiliates have applied for your program and you simply need take some time to review the information they've provided you and whichever additional criteria you choose to determine if you'll accept their request to join your program.

Once you select 'Approved' or 'Declined' and click the 'Change Affiliate Status' button they will no longer show as not approved.
