I found a program to strictly allow no access of PC's to parasites. The download of internet wartcher is found here.

Link removed until confirmation of program

This program has a very good redirection area where the clients browser never finds the redirected url and instead of it lands on a website you want.

Warning: The link above starts an automatic download of the app. Also the site is in Danish(?), not english (for folks like me who are still struggling to grasp their native language, let alone another one.)

    Hi,
sorry this was a fault of mine, and no I am not affiliated with this company.
I have a new link where the download does not start automatically, it is in German, but the software is multilingual and has a built-in english version. The download link is safe.

P.S.: I found the set-up rather difficult but it works very good

Can anyone confirm that this program is any good? I hope this is not just blocking all the major ad networks (that was the solution used by the makers of Kazaa Lite that is now costing nearly all webmasters sales and commissions every single day). I think someone should confirm that this program works to block parasites only, and the link should be taken down if it does not.

    David,
it seems that you always insist when it comes to blocking software and you spread fear of using any good programs. Why don't you test it for yourself and give us then your comment?

Parasites are downloaded onto a users computer so a site is only "parasited" when a user with the parasite visits your site. The parasite overwrites the cookie on that users machine so that the parasite gets the commision that would have gone to you. Parasite software is loaded on millions upon millions of users computers so the amount of commissions being diverted is astronomical.

As far as the program well........ you would have to get it onto the same hundreds of millions of PCs infected with parasites for it to work. How ya gonna do that?

I suppose they could but usually, parasites are usually bundled with "FREE" shareware that really isn't free. Examples are the file sharing applications like kaza, bearshare, etc or gator which is "help remember and fill in forms on the screen.

They tell users half lies (when they do tell a user as part of a download) such as we may occasionally display popups, etc, etc to keep the software free and earn advertising... they aren't telling you they are stealing from somebody else.

They make it seem very legit and they wrap up whats really happening in fine print deep inside the agreement users must agree with (usually) to use the software. However, gator has done lots of driveby downloads and based on notifications I give parasite users on my site, 65% don't even know the parasite detected is installed on their machine! Is this an accident? Ughhhh I don't think so.
