Is it possible to have all the internal CJ email routed to a real email account? Navigating that archaic email system is a real pain in the ass.

Also, its easy to forget to go login and check mail there.. in addition to all the other places...

    Thanks for any ideas

Back in the summer or fall CJ said they would be revising the CJ mail system, but it never happened. They know it sucks. I doubt it is very high on their priority list these days.

To answer your question, no, I don't think it can be sent trough regular email.

The really confusing part is I get different emails from CJ merchants at CJ mail and at my own email. That makes it even more confusing. And if you have over 700 merchants like me, you get dozens of emails a day. It's getting really hard to wade through them all.

It confuses me as well, and I am one of their merchants

It seems to be that bulk messages sent to non-members of your program (i.e. recruitment emails) go to their real email box, and individual messages and newsletter to members go into the CJ box.

I am running some tests to find out exactly how things work.

CJ's mail system is way to keep merchants from getting an affiliates contact info. I think that as merchants we deserve our affiliates contact info! Thing is, I don't think there are plans to change it. It's very archaic.

I hate it too...I keep checking and double checking to see if I've opted out of all emails, yet I keep getting 'em in my main inbox as well as my CJ mailbox... & don't get us started on the separate emails for expiring links...that's just ridiculous...7 today from eBay canada alone...

Why will CJ not let me see my affiliates information? If I had known CJ would not let me have affiliates email address's I would have chose a different network.

I'm afraid we are all barking up the wrong tree here. CJ does not seem to listen to the voices here at ABW anymore. I suggest all of you, especially the merchants, write to CJ directly. I know they had something on the drawing board for a new email system. Perhaps they would dust it off and look at it again if they realized just how put off we all are by their current system.

Thanks for the replies. Its very frustrating to use!

Hell, Reply doesn't even work correctly.

I do like that merchants can't get the contact info, though. As an affiliate. I think that is a very good "feature" for affiliates.

Oohhh.nice. Looks like Todd was listening.

My jaw is on the floor. Someone at CJ actually read this thread AND is taking some kind of action. Now, when and if we get the email system ever fixed will be another story.
