The best way to get affiliates is to advertise the great features of your program here: Advertise at ABestWeb Affiliate Marketing Forums
It's like having your own ABW miniforum for a month.

    +1

I'll add you should examine your program and compare it to your competitors. How do you stack up? When you say "attract" it sounds like you're not recruiting. Don't expect your program to run on auto-pilot, it won't work. Put in what you expect to get out of it but first make sure you have a solid offer for affiliates. Can you beat your competitors offer? Can you convert as well or better? Are your terms affiliate friendly? See which programs are doing well in your vertical and then find out why they're successful.

Paid Service is the only way you can advertise your site here.

every business needs an initial investment, whether online of offline

and the same theory applies for affiliate marketing, if you are not ready to pay a few bucks in the starting
then how can it be assured to get valuable returns in the long run ...

Also, make sure that your program offers something solid and try to add some value to it, in order to make it more catchy

This is something I have been struggling with myself...Im finding that a lot of larger sites are not into affiliate advertising but would rather I buy advertising space from them.

That is expected to remain so for a real long time if not forever!.

Affiliate Marketing is a small piece compared to online advertising - and the online advertising (not including affiliate marketing) will continue to be a big pie!. To be successful for a merchant, all forms of advertising should be explored!

No one will know you offer 75% commission unless you advertise your site at different places.

75% of what? Put that's only one piece of it. It wouldn't matter if you offered 500% if you can't convert the clicks into sales. Your competitor could offer 10% and convert at 10% and, therefore, have a much better offer than 75% and not convert.

Don't take this the wrong way but you're saying you don't want to invest in your program but want affiliates to? To affiliates that statement says "We don't think we have a great idea and aren't willing to invest in it but you should join us anyway". That may not be what you mean but that's how it will be perceived by many here.

An affiliate program that isn't taken seriously will not survive. My best advice to you is either jump into it or head in another direction with your advertising & promotion. If you're wishy-washy about it, or just want to dip your toe in and see how the water is I'd say save your money and don't waste any time on this.

If you are serious about this, see what your competitors are doing with their programs and see how you can build a better offer for affiliates. Then jump into it wholeheartedly. The people here are the ones who could be your future partners, listen to them.
