    I reckon this is the bit they get wrong. If I'm lounging by the pool, my brain is in "lounging by the pool" mode and I don't want access to the internet or tv or radio or anything other than maybe the babe in the bikini who's just dived in.

    I agree! I keep thinking I might like to get a wireless so I could go outside and work. But reality is, if I did - I would be watching the birds, squirrels, etc.. Anything but working!

    So, for me - I like to work at my desk and then take time out to do other things totally away from the PC!

    My village has been investigating something similar to offer wireless access to the entire village. Supposedly higher speeds, lower costs. Everyone is sick of the local utilities and their inability to deliver a decent quality product.
