    Earthquake in North Thailand
Just felt a (mild) earthquake in Nan, north Thailand.
Kind of scary. The floor rocked for a few seconds and I thought, I haven't had THAT much Singha beer.

    Thanks, 2busy.

It hasn't done any damage here - I just hope it didn't hit somewhere else bad and we just caught the fringe here.

Thanks Kellie. Myanmar is not that far as the crow flies - a few hundred clicks. Hope they're OK there. It's scary when the ground moves beneath your feet.

There was a lot of press in Bangkok on how people in big condo buildings felt them sway. I live in a house fairly close to the center of town, and didn't feel a thing...My wife told me about the earthquake after seeing it on the Thai news...
