What kind of products sell best this time of year (december/holidays)?

The services that I'm currently promoting are very low this time of year so I would appreciate some advice.

I think that overall almost everything sells better this time of year.

There are probably things like dental plans, loans, gardening etc that see a slow down though.

All the toystores affiliate programs I've found only pay 5%!

It's something like they buy a $5 toy from China they sell it for $29.95 and give us $1.50 commission.. Doesnt look fair!

    I want more! :P
If you could tell me some toystore merchant that pay more I would really appreciate!

5% and less than 1 return day. Take it or leave it.

You have to make it up in volume.

Actually I think Target had a 10% offer and several return days, but by now most of the really hot toys are sold out online.

I believe there is a new one at SAS that pays more than 5% (I think). Can't remember the name - something like Toys2WishFor or something...

Little bit of everything, electronics definetly. I read where electronics has taken over books as the number one selling department at Amazon. I'm pushing Amazon Electronics hard with the 6% commission and the trust factor they have with their shoppers, better than most of the electronics merchants out there.

For toys there are some very nice niche ones at SAS. There are a lot of merchants that aren't necessarily "toy merchants" but carry toys and pay more than 5%.
