    Best Software/network
I am trying to figure out what is the best software to purchase for my affiliate program. From reading lots on the forums I am beginning to see that my orginal choices (such as postaffilaitepro) are just a drop in the bucket.

So I put it out there to everyone, I am creating an affiliate program for a gaming company (gambling) which is the best route to go? Download and host my own program (chosing the best, that is user friendly for affiliates etc) or go the CJ or shareasale route.

If the first option any suggestions of your favorite program to use?

I am currently leaning towards omnistar or affiliate pro....am I going to regret it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Drowning in information,
    Jo

    Hi Jo,
If your program is brand new, I think its best to go with a network so you get the most exposure to affiliates. A lot of times, affiliates prefer networks because they trust that they will get paid on time. While you have to pay networks a commission, they take care of paying your affiliates, so its easier on you.

    so sad
Thank you so much for your advice. We are leaning heavily towards the network solution. But woe is me when I contacted shareasale and was rejected as they are no longer accepting gaming websites.

SAS was my first choice, so now Im off to look around for a suitable network for my site.

If anyone has any suggestions for a good network that works with gaming sites I would really appreciate the insite.

    Thank you so much

Gaming sites are illegal in the USA. That's why you'll have problems.

    Gambling
Yes that is true. And while America can seem like the center of the universe sometimes lol. Most of Europe, and large portions of South America Gambling online is quite legal.

Its a billion $ business in Europe especially. So I would like to hope and think that some network somewhere out there is run in Europe perhaps that would be suitable for my little company.

    I am ever hopeful.

But you are absolutly right, I have been barking up the wrong (American) tree, and should now focus on European networks...Hmmmm I'm the brits have something. Will look around that part of the world

    Best
