    Hey David,

Sorry I took so long to reply to your post. Been hard at the coding lately.

I know of two editors that are highly regarded. I have never used either one. (I do it the old fashioned way...make a lot of mistakes )

    www.bradsoft.com/topstyle/index.asp
Highest cost, but has an affiliate program with it.

    www.westciv.com/style_master/index.html
Has a fully functional free demo.

There are a very large number of css tutorials around the net. Some of the gurus' pages have the css style sheet viewable. Makes for understanding how it works a little easier.

There is no better way than to just start doing in.

I have installed an apache server on my pc (for development), so trying out the various ways pages render your styles is very easy.

    Hope this will help.

If you are new to the world of css:

Some amazing things can be done with css (no images !)

    1. www.tanfa.co.uk/
Don't spend too much time on the puzzle. Scroll down almost to the bottom and be amazed by the working digital clock.

    2. www.stunicholls.myby.co.uk/menu/index.html
    Check out the Snowman.

    3. www.cssvault.com/cat_navigation.php
Lots of tutorials, demos, and information.

Yes, I know. These sites have little or no bearing on sales pages. Beauty is still beauty.

The skills acquired by these webmasters could be applied to making something as mundane as a sales site in a heartbeat.

Notes: I have no clue how these sites will render in anything but Firefox. If you aren't surfing with Firefox, you'd better start. JMO

    I admire skill. Enjoy.

I downloaded the demo of Style Master. Worked thru the tutorial in about 2 hours.

It's a shame I only have two thumbs 'cause I'd give this one 5 thumbs up.

Wish they had an affiliate program.

TopStyle has a free version which is what i use along with my HTML editor (NVU - http://www.nvu.com/ it's still in beta, and has a few features still under development, but overall it's a great editor!).

You can download TopStyle Lite here:
