ABW on the go... ABW iPhone/Android skin!
At the bottom of each page in the footer you will find a link to the latest release of the ABW Mobile skin! You can bookmark it too!

You can try it out on your regular PC, and there are 2 ways to get back to the normal skin:
    1. Click the logout button and log back in to restore your normal site preferences
    2. Click the normal version button in the bottom left of the mobile skin

The menu and search buttons work now, and the menu layout has been improved.

Let me know what you think, or suggest changes and I'll see what I can do.

So, who is using this? Any feedback? Anything we need to tweak?

I tried using it, but it doesn't support moderator functionality, so I reverted back to the standard skin. It seemed to have all of the standard user functionality, though. If you notice anything that was missed, let me know.

    1. Why don't you identify the browser and load skin automatically?

    2. The skin doesn't load on my iphone (not logged in).

If you make it automatic, make sure it can be overridden. I access ABW regularly on my iPhone, but I don't use the mobile skin since it doesn't have Moderator features in it.

Right, just make sure that the need of the one doesn't exceed the functionality for the masses.

I'm with you on the override. Bottom left, you can click the normal version button. Your phone should remember your preference for an indefinite period. If it goes back to the mobile view however, you'll probably need to click the button again.

I'll update this post once device detection is installed, to confirm that its working as intended.

It automatically loaded for me and I was able to make it go away.
    I am logged in though.

    Update

iPad - auto skin but when open normal view doesn't remember me

iPhone - still no auto skin.

Let's take this a bit further - how about some script that remembers skin and username per device. Meaning I don't want the skin default on my iPad but maybe I only want it on my iPhone.

It recognizes the standard browser and works fine in Android 2.2 (however it would be nice if I could go to the last post in threads, especially long threads), however, the mobile skin doesn't work in Opera Mini at all.

iPad - looks like the cookie ( no skin ) is session based and the remember me doesn't work. I close browser to open app and upon return to browser I'm logged out. Also it appears that their is a glitch in that login screen - every time it says bad password when I know it is entered correctly. Second login works every time.

iPad should default to the normal skin now for everyone, as that makes sense with the screen size and device functionality.

Everything else should be automatically detected for the correct skin. Let me know if not.
