Paypal Accuses Google of Stealing Secrets
PayPal sues Google for stealing employees and trade secrets - May. 27, 2011

This is an interesting article. Does anyone believe Paypal has a fighting chance against the giant?

On the surface and without all the facts yet, it does seem plausible to me that what Paypal alleges, did happen.

Wow, you guys sound like you think Paypal is some little fly-by-night company going up against Google. Paypal is a giant themselves.

If even some of that article is true, they certainly have a valid suit in my opinion.

Good point as PayPal is owned by eBay!

Reading the article I think that PayPal has a compelling case. What I see happening is that Google will succeed and make $M, drag out the case and settle out of court.

Years ago my merchant account was through VeriSign which was bought out by PayPal, they are no small outfit. I was pretty pi55ed at the time because I opened the merchant account to get away from Paypal.

And should the Google lose any suit, say good-bye to any indexing of any site, store, or mentioning of PayPal from their indexes. Just force store owners to switch to the Google's checkout...

Oh, just a scenario - don't think that would actually happen. The Google is politically correct - right?

Guess this is directed at me.

For the benefit of those who may not realize how large PayPal (eBay) is.

    Simply adding some reference...
