    Seen in an agreement!
Publishers may NOT do any of the following:
1- Attempt to earn commissions on any clicks made through user submitted or generated content.
2- Includes message posts, bookmarks, favorites, etc.
3- List coupons for our website.
I've no idea of what they intend to tell us with the first two points. What's the reason behind that? Are they targeting specific blogs?

Now, I'm not too dumb and I was able to understand (maybe) the third point.
The problem is: They have a coupon in the Shareasale "View Current Coupons / Deals" for their affiliates:
Save 10% On XXXX: Coupon Code: XXXXXXX
What are we suppose to do if we can't "List" it?

It's going to be hard to make a living as an affiliate with such an agreement.
Are my first sales for them going to be voided? EPC 7 Day ($13.23)

PS: I should have done a better job before promoting this merchant:

    They love "Trust Badges" too:
Listed on most pages including theit home page:

I'm surprised they don't prohibit use of HTML and keyboards, too.

Just to make it clearer they should add:
    4) Post our links anywhere someone might actually see them.

These are merchants who heard that having an affiliate program can increase their sales, so they got one and they are waiting for it to start increasing their sales.

Did you email the manager to ask them to clarify why they list coupon codes if you are not allowed to use them? Maybe they meant you can only use coupon codes approved for affiliate use?

It's a full time job to educate clueless merchants. I can't do it all the time.
In this case I thought it was desesperate and I've not been doing it.
My experience with clueless merchants is not stellar. Most of the time, they don't answer your emails or you have to be really nasty. I've had some success but it takes time.
Here's the merchant name: designerstudiostore.com location: San Diego, CA. No AM contact name.
