I am not the most tech savy...so I need opinions.
Today I was checking the instant preview with goog webmaster tools.
I have sites on 2 different hosts.
On host #1 I keep getting error messages such as "database not found" and do not get a view of my sites.
On host #2 views of my sites pop up rather quickly.
I have been considering dumping host #1 because my sites seem to be reacting rather slowly and I am getting a lot of 5 min down times.....like 19 in 3 weeks.
Just needed to rant a little........You must climb this mountain. There is no elevator. ---- Don't stick your finger in the liquid nitrogen.

Sounds like host #1 has you with too many other accounts. Probably should move...Salty kisses, Sandy toes, and a Pirate's heart...

Webmaster Tools Labs is a testing ground for experimental features that aren't quite ready for primetime. They may change, break or disappear at any time.

I'm on my second in VPS in 2 years..
Good hosting is the backbone of database-driven sites (that includes CMS sites like Wordpress, Drupal, etc).
I wouldn't put much stock in Google instant preview, but with that kind of downtime, you should move. It could be a bad neighbour causing the problem (an issue that can occur in both shared & VPS environments).

I know it's not feasible for everyone to have a dedicated server - but for about $200-250/month with a cPanel license and Fantastico you'll find you'll never go back.
I really need to buy some advertising here...Salty kisses, Sandy toes, and a Pirate's heart...

VPS would be a better option when it comes for hosting service. As your business expands you can upgrade your vps and go with cloud server hosting which are based on high end networking concept where multiple web servers are interconnected to form of a cluster which endure 100% power and uptime guarantee...
