    All,

I've decided to do a Halloween contest for:

    1. Best Ghost Story
    2. Best Costume / Costume Idea
    3. Scariest Avatar (not using a member's image)
    4. Best 'Treat' Recipe
    5. Best 'Trick'

Currently the winners will win a gift basket from our newest merchant - CandyCrate, but I'm pretty sure I can 'conjure' up some more prizes from other merchants.

I'll post the new prizes as they get added to this thread and open the contest with threads for the entries later today.
    Continued Success,

    Haiko

Are these trick prizes like the Movie name contest? Cuz that sure was fun. In fact, I'm wearing my invisible ABW t-shirt right now. Smooth and silky. I like to wear it as a hat, an invisible hat, as it is.

Ok, that's what I see in the New Posts blurb...of course not yet seeing Donuts post above.

So I'm thinking...OMG!!!....now that is some serious self-control. Because if I had gift baskets from Candy Crate in my den, ready to be mailed or not, no way would they still be around by contest end!!

For the casual costume approach, I've got a glow in the dark skeleton t-shirt, it's double sided, with the bones from the back view also on the back.

Sandra thinks it's fun to scare me

Unfortunately I've yet to come up with ANYTHING that frightens Sandra. So maybe there should be another category in the contest, the objective being to scare the crap out of Ms. R. (Whatever it is, just don't show it to me puleeze!)

Well This is kind of creepy.

Just tonight my 2-1/2 year old daughter was telling us about the ghost who was tickling her in her dream last night.

We asked her if she knew the ghosts name... Sanno she said. My wifes fathers name. He died when my wife was a baby.

He has visited before. Several years ago we had all sat down for Thanksgiving Dinner when my wifes sister, who way 11 at the time, looked up and said "mom your dead husband is standing behind you." Then she went back to eating like nothing had happened.

We all looked at each other like oookkkaaaayyyy!

Even when my daughter way an infant she used to wake up screaming. I would go into her room and she would be awake looking past me into the upper corner of the room.

Man it used to scare the hell out of me. Now I just tell him to quit scaring her.
