Just got the dreaded deactivation notice.

Guess you have to expect it when you do business with crooks.

What hurts is the $1000 they owe me.

    I need it.

    Folks - take note!

Can you lend some insight for the uninformed? Background threads for reference here perhaps, explanation of why you were deactivated, and/or why you aren't getting $1000 you may be owed?

A new member at ABW might be trolling, but you've been here a while, and it sounds like you have a story. I'd really like to hear it, and others likely would also.

They don't give you a reason - you get a standard deactivation notice listing possible reasons for deactivation (none of which applies to me) but nothing specific. You are immediately blocked from the eBay partner website and any commissions you have accrued are forfeit.

They determined that my account has been generating 'non bona-fide' transactions.

That's it - I'm moving on. If they don't want my traffic I'll send it elsewhere.

Do you remember what your EPC was before this happened? I've seen some post it get to the dreaded .03 then later on get hit. Did it ever get that low?

To be honest I never even tried to get my head around their algorithm. I had lots of campaigns and there were always a few at the bottom showing EPC of 0. Most of the time, most of them were hovering around 0.15.

I meant overall. Right after I login, in the Dashboard undre Account Metrics, you had Impressions, Clicks, EPC, Earnings. I think the lowest overall for the month that I've ever had was 10, lately just over 20. I've seen some people post in the past in getting down to 3 then later on, a month or a few months later, they get deactivated. Trying to figure out if it was a case like that, some kind of warning for others that might have their EPC dipping in that area. But sucks if you're now locked out and can't even check. It's this kind of thing that's actually kept me from doing more with ebay, the way they do this.

Yep, I'm afraid I can't retrieve that information. Actually I think it's futile trying to second guess them. They can do anything they want, anytime they want, for whatever reason they want. They are accountable to no-one. Who knows what their agenda is right now?
