I finally decided that I am going to have to bite the bullet & get Photoshop (there are a few templates that I like & I need to edit them).

Does anyone know where there may be some deals on it? It's so expensive.

    Thanks!

    WG,

What I have done to get some good deals on software is enroll in a non-credit computer related class at my local technical college. These usually cost me $15-$20 but they gets me a student ID and i'm then able to get some good discounts on software.

Then if I go to class ( usually only one or two nights total ), I listen to see if people are looking for software and send them my aff link.. Win-Win on my part

NON-Aff link: http://www.journeyed.com has CS for $288 and Elements for about $70 .

Elements works great. It's all you need unless you’re a serious graphic designer. I have used both and elements is perfect for the average webmaster.

Like Sid says, check out Photoshop Elements.

If you're not a pro designer, it's very likely all you need and can edit photoshop files.

    $100 vs. $700

Thanks all for your imput. I am just wanting to change some template headers (you know where they have generic stuff you have to replace)

The Elements should cover every thing I need

Thanks for saving me a bundle. If ever we meet a round of are on me.
